On your website it says Fuel type: PHEV, but according to technical information this model is actually an EREV (extended-range EV) where the gasoline engine only works as a generator and does not drive the wheels. Could you please confirm how this vehicle is officially classified in the export documents? 👉 Is it declared as a PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid) with only 10% EU import duty, or as an EREV/EV, which would fall under the higher EU tariff (27%–45.3%)? This detail is very important for me before deciding the purchase. Thank you.

Hi, thanks for question. Parallel hybrids have 10% tariff, while serial hybrids are sometimes considered BEV with full tariff and sometimes PHEV with 10%. We experienced both; it probably depends on the customs clearance officer, and the situation needs to be clarified in the future. In most cases, it fell into the 10% category.
